Special Event: Remembering Steve Jobs, 1955-2011 Friday, October 7th, 6PM

On Friday, October 7th at 6 PM, ByMUG will be hosting an informal gathering at our usual meeting place Patty Bolands at 101 Clarence Street to remember someone who changed how we all use technology, Steve Jobs who passed away yesterday.

I began using Apple products (Apple IIe & Mac SE-30, ) from 1981 on … except for a 3 year period when compatibility with my main office took me “elsewhere”. I must say that I feel sad that Steve, departing at such a young age, did not enjoy as fulfilling a retirement as I have been enjoying for the past 15 years, always with Apple products at my fingers. To his family and close friends, I extend my most sincere condolences knowing that Steve will be remembered by millions across the world.
May he rest in peace!
