Meetings
The Bytown Mac User Group (ByMUG) meets on every first Sunday of the month (unless otherwise noted) at Patty Bolands Irish Carvery & Pub in Ottawa's Byward Market. Feel free to look at our meeting history to get a feel for what we cover.
Meetings begin at 1 p.m. and end around 5 p.m., although they are known to last through supper.

For February's meeting we have a slew of demos; Tom will talk about how to back up DVDs using Handbrake, Dwight will show how to use Magna Studio to create magna and comics, then Reinhard will demonstrate how to use Geni.com, and finally, Derek will show his iPhone app Transitway to help users of Ottawa's transit system. We will of course, spend time discussing the Apple's latest creation, the iPad.
How do I get to a ByMUG meeting?
Take any bus to the Rideau Centre. If you're not on Rideau Street itself when you get off the bus, get there. Then cut through William Street and keep going until you get to Clarence Street. Cross Clarence Street and go right. It'll be about 50' down.
